Fall - Season of the Spider

Find the beauty or create it yourself. -Myself in 2009 or 10, when asked how I deal with military life.

Fall and winter aren’t my favorite seasons. Fall is great till the brilliant leaves are gone. I have to purposely find the beauty in winter.
I’m also trying to cure my phobias and fears, not that I have many of them, but I don’t want to be controlled by anything outside of myself. Fall being the season of the spider, I go spider hunting. Here are a few of my faves taken since Mabon. Shot with my new Sony A7 IV and my old Canon 70-200mm lens with an adapter.

So far this one, with the crabapples in the background, is my favorite. Taken 27 Sept from inside my van.
